Creative Streak

Wed Apr 23, 2008, 10:30 AM
I have had this insane creative streak lately. Over the past couple weeks, I have always had to be doing something with my hands - writing, sewing, drawing, scrapbooking - and the creative bug has only gotten worse over time. I bought yards of fabric and I'm sewing a pillow and blanket set, I got a sketchbook and new pack of pencils and have already taken it for a test run, and spent $50 on a scrapbook, stickers and developing all of the pictures I had taken... I have developed four new habits over the past two weeks alone: drawing, photography, sewing and scrapbooking.

Not that I am opposed to any of this. I enjoy being creative and working with my hands.

I created this account nearly three months ago as a place to put my writing portfolio. Now, I am using it to store the results of my creativity.

There will never be a finale, never an end. Look around you at the stars, the moon, the sun. Just because you give up doesn't mean they have to too. Chain reactions can be stopped, but if they are not, the life you know could be gone.
